Our Methodology
Some names are easy to identify. Take Liam O' Brien for instance. Both the first and the last name are distinctly Irish.
Things can get more complicated sometimes. For instance, James Ha is most likely a Chinese-American name. However, it is also very likely that he could be a Vietnamese-American, since the last name Ha is shared by both ethnicities. In this case, we'd look at the middle-name, which is "Van." "Van" is a distinctly Vietnamese name and thus this particular James Ha is a Vietnamese-American, not a Chinese-American.
