Production Support Consultant

• Will provide application production support by manning the production support hotline
• It includes escalation to Application Team managers and supervisors
• Should have technical skills to provide trouble-shooting assistance and have the ability to diagnose and solve technical and business user problems
• Flexible to work any shift
• Pager support
• Work weekends and potentially holidays

Required Skills:

• SQL - Sybase or Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server or other relational database management system
• Experience in UNIX

Quality Assurance/ QTP Analyst:

• Perform manual and automated functional and regression testing on all internally developed applications to certify them for production implementation
• Develop test plans and project plans, based on overall project requirements
• Create, maintain and update test cases and regression scripts, based on business requirements
• Reporting and managing software issues and test activities throughout the software development lifecycle
• Wherever possible use Automation and other Industry best practices to enhance the testing process

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of relevant Financial Services experience (Securities Industry Knowledge a major plus)
• 3+ years manual and automated testing experience
• Knowledge of the Software development life-cycle
• Familiarity with Process and Procedures as they pertain to test and industry standards
• Independent Testing of Client Server based applications
• Experience with developing test scripts and test plans
• Must be self starter and have the ability to work independently and within a team. Strong analytical skills and multi-tasking required
• Previous working experience with SQL, VMS, UNIX
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

Industry Experience:
Experience in financial industry a big plus

Quality Assurance Consultant

VB.net consultant

• The initial project is to work on the back end interfaces to a couple of web sites. We would like to see more end user analysis and interaction skills. Should be able to probe and discover what the end user wants as opposed to just a pure programmer

Required Skills:

• 2-3 years experience focusing exclusively on VB. NET and SQL Server 2000
• Additional experience in older versions of VB, ASP or SQL will be helpful as will Crystal Reports experience
  Healthcare industry a plus

Java J2EE Swing Developer:

• Perform Java J2EE Swing development applying Object-oriented methodology and Java-technology
• Build components for re-use
• Apply a full-life cycle development process, such as the Rational Unified Process (RUP)
• This includes the use of UML, Use Cases, Sequence and Class Diagramming
• Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team solving problems and implementing solutions
• Provide input technical architectural direction when needed

Required Skills:

• 4 years of Java and J2EE, current Swing and Weblogic 8.x skills
• Clearcase (is a plus) , trading or brokerage industry knowledge is highly preferred
• Tibco skills (JMS is okay in lieu of Tibco)

Actuate Administrator

Required Skills:

• Actuate server version 7 and higher administration experience
• Actuate report design experience
• Crystal Reports (Business Objects) reports design experience
• Knowledge of UNIX (HP/UX, Solaris), Windows operating systems and command scripts on these platforms
• Familiarity with relational database concept, Sybase, Oracle, and SQL language
